Privacy Policy
FenceQuotesNow.com ("FenceQuotesNow," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by UNALOGIX, LLC. FenceQuotesNow is a free service that connects homeowners who want a new fence with independent local fence installers. This policy explains what information we collect on fencequotesnow.com and its pages and forms (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. We serve people in the United States only.
The short version. When you request a quote, we send your contact information and project details to one local fence installer serving your area, so they can contact you about your fence. That installer may pay us for the referral. We do not sell your information to lists or share it with multiple companies.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, we collect what you enter: your name, mobile phone number, email address, ZIP code, street address (optional), whether you need a new fence or a replacement, fence type, whether you own the property, and your installation timeline.
Consent records. When you submit a request, we keep a record of the consent language shown to you, the time of your submission, and the page you submitted it on. If we confirm your phone number by text message, we record whether confirmation succeeded.
Collected automatically. IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, referring URL, pages viewed, ad campaign parameters, and ad click identifiers. We and our advertising partners (for example, Meta and Google) may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to measure and improve our ads.
From third parties. If you submit a quote request through a lead form inside an advertising platform (for example, Facebook or Instagram), that platform passes your answers to us. We may use data validation services to confirm that contact details are real.
2. How we use information
- To review your request and match you with a local installer who does your type of fence.
- To deliver your request to that installer so they can contact you and provide a quote.
- To contact you about your request, including to confirm your details.
- To measure and improve our advertising and the Site.
- To detect and prevent fraud, fake submissions, and abuse.
- To document your consent, comply with law, and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How your quote request is shared
When you submit a request, you are asking us to connect you with a fence installer. At your direction, we share your name, contact information, ZIP code or street address, and project details with one participating fence installer that serves your area, so that installer can contact you about your fence.
The installer may pay us for the referral. Installers are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Once delivered, the installer handles your information under its own privacy practices. Our agreements require installers to use your information only to respond to your request and not to resell or share it.
4. Calls and text messages (SMS)
By submitting a quote request with your phone number, you agree to be contacted about your request by FenceQuotesNow and by the one fence installer matched to your request, by call, text message, and email, which may use automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or HELP for help.
Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. This does not include delivering your request to the installer you asked to be connected with (Section 3), or sharing with vendors that send messages on our behalf.
5. Other ways we share information
- Service providers that help us operate, such as hosting, CRM, phone and SMS delivery, email, data validation, analytics, and advertising. They may use information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising platforms that receive information through cookies and pixels to measure and deliver ads. Some state laws call this "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You can opt out (Section 9).
- Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Apart from delivering your request to one installer at your direction, as described in Section 3, we do not sell your personal information.
6. Cookies and tracking
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Meta and Google account settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some pages work.
7. Data retention
We keep quote requests and consent records for as long as needed to deliver your request, document your consent, resolve disputes, keep business records, and meet legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (Section 9), subject to records we must keep by law. Deleting our copy does not delete a copy already delivered to an installer; you can contact that installer directly.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access or correct it, to have it deleted, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, and to appeal if we deny a request.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). In the past 12 months we collected: identifiers (name, phone, email, and street address if provided); customer records; commercial information (the fence project you requested); internet or network activity; and approximate location (ZIP code and IP-based location). We collected it from you, automatically from your device, and from advertising platforms. We disclosed it to service providers for business purposes, to a participating installer at your direction, and, for internet activity, to advertising platforms. We do not collect sensitive personal information. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for using your rights.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with consumer privacy laws have these rights to the extent provided by their state's law.
To make a request, email [email protected]. To opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, use the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." We will verify your request using the contact information we have on file and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of authorization. To appeal a denied request, reply to our decision with the subject line "Appeal."
10. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals because there is no common standard for them.
11. Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and you must be 18 or older to request a quote. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party sites and installers
The Site may link to or embed third-party services, and installers are independent of us. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
